A lovely Victorian family home, with attractive traditional frontage.
The reception rooms are fitted with dividing doors, which give you the option to open the rooms into one when people are gathered together and gently divide the rooms when someone needs some quiet time for study or work. With a wood burner, and so much natural light from the doorway, which provides extra access to the garden, this layout keeps everyone warm and comfortable whether together or apart.
The home has been extended to the rear creating a wide open-plan kitchen-diner, with plenty of space, excellent storage and a bounty of natural light flowing through. This is a great family setting with doors opening up to the large garden for enjoying the summer months.
The home is welcoming, colourful and full of character with many original features intact including fireplaces and stripped wood floors.
Upstairs the bedrooms are doubles, including the smaller room currently used as a workspace. The bathroom features a separate WC, always useful with a family.
Living here you’ll be in the heart of Walthamstow village and a rich local community where people know each other and where you can walk out to the Village Bakery, pick up a bottle of wine at the Eat 17 and a coffee from Froth & Rind, just some of many local shops, cafes and restaurants in the area.
There are also lots of local schools nearby and down the road you have access to acres of natural green space at Hollow Ponds. Transport links are also excellent, with less than a 10 minute walk or a 4 minute cycle to both Walthamstow Central and Wood Street stations. A classic family home, full of character in a popular area of Walthamstow. Shall we take a look?

We have lived here for many years and have so enjoyed the very neighbourly road and being close to the fantastic shops, pubs and restaurants in the village. In winter the house is bathed in the low sunlight from front to back and in summer the garden is a sun trap that is great to spill out into from the kitchen diner on a warm summer evening. We have been very happy here, the house is a comfortable welcoming home and is also a lovely space for entertaining.
