Propertyworld is delighted to present this charming one-bedroom, Art Deco-style purpose-built apartment at Dover House, a highly regarded 1930's development in Anerley, celebrated for its distinctive architecture and generously proportioned homes.
Situated on the upper floors, this bright and spacious property is offered with no onward chain and is ready for immediate occupation. Enjoying far-reaching views from multiple aspects, the apartment offers a wonderful sense of light and space throughout.
The impressive reception room features a beautiful central bay window and fitted carpeting, with generous dimensions of approximately 16'2" x 12'2". The bedroom is equally well proportioned, measuring over 12ft, and is quietly positioned to the rear of the building.
The practical shower room benefits from windows providing excellent natural light and ventilation, while the kitchen is fitted with a range of wall and base units, ample space for appliances and a good amount of worktop for food preparation.
Outside, residents can enjoy the communal recreational grounds to the rear, providing useful outdoor space and an area for drying laundry, as well as lawned grounds to the side and front of the property, buffered from the street, by a thick hedge border.
Perfectly positioned close to the much sought-after Crystal Palace Triangle, residents are within easy reach of an excellent selection of bars, cafés, brasseries and restaurants. For commuters, both Anerley and Crystal Palace railway stations are just a short walk away, offering convenient connections into Central London and beyond.
A fantastic opportunity for a first-time buyer, investor or anyone seeking a low-maintenance home that is ready to move straight into. Early viewing is highly recommended.
I think one of the best things about this property is how spacious the living room is and the room's southerly orientation, meaning it gets great morning light, which isn't blocked out by buildings. I've also always liked how whichever way you look out from the flat, you really feel you have plenty of space around you. And when entering the building, I have always been impressed by its' lovely art deco design. The location really is great because aside from the very nearby station with trains into London Bridge in as little as 20 minutes, I like how it's easy walk to a number of high streets and it's also really handy to be able to walk to an ALDI in literally just two minutes
