"The house is full of fond memories. It is where we have grown our family, and joined the vibrant local community including the brilliant Hillcrest School. The spacious kitchen diner has been the perfect setting for so many fun-filled dinner parties. Being between the green spaces of School Road Park, the Community Orchard and Arnos Vale makes it feel like a haven for wildlife despite being in the heart of the city and only a short walk from Temple Meads station."
The home
A characterful end terrace house sitting on a quiet stretch of Park Street in Totterdown, this two-bedroom home has been thoughtfully maintained. The ground floor is arranged around the kitchen/diner offering ample room for both cooking and entertaining. Fitted with sage green cabinetry, solid wood worktops and space for a sizeable dining table it's an inviting and practical space that opens to the rear garden. A separate reception room provides a comfortable sitting area featuring a working Victorian fireplace which is the focal point for the room and solid wood floors run throughout every room in the house. Upstairs there are two well-proportioned bedrooms both benefit from good natural light, with the principal suite retaining its own working fireplace. The bathroom is a generous four-piece suite fitted with a corner bath, walk-in shower, toilet and basin. The loft is fully boarded and offers excellent additional storage as well as the cellar which is accessed from the ground floor. There is also side access to the property and space for bike storage or a shed.
Outside space
The split-level south-west facing garden is a sun trap over the summer months, with a lower courtyard patio and steps rising to an elevated terrace. The rear of the house was freshly rendered in and the front was newly painted at the same time.
