Shops, pubs, and schools are within walking distance, including the popular White Lion pub, which has been refurbished recently, located off of Frenchay Common. The M4, M32, and the ring road (A4174) are close by, with Filton Abbey Wood, home to major employers such as the MOD and Rolls-Royce. Bristol Parkway is a short drive via Hambrook, making the area well connected. A big draw for Frenchay is the link to green space, and being set within a rural setting, but within touching distance of Bristol and beyond.
