"We have absolutely loved living in the cottage. We love that it is surrounded by the Kings Weston and Blaise estates so we have beautiful leafy walks on our doorstep. The Blaise Inn is a great foody pub and only a mile away. The cottage is very homely and cosy, and we've been careful to maintain the character of the property. The lounge in particular is a lovely place to relax with its large fireplace and log burner. The garden in beautiful in the summer - perfect for barbeques with friends."
The home
A pretty Grade II listed former Blacksmiths cottage dating back to the 1700's. This wonderful house is deceptively spacious with two excellent receptions, three bedrooms a large garden and detached garage/workshop. What really stands out is the welcoming, homely vibe and abundance of the sort of features buyers love to see in homes of this style and vintage. The focus point of the lounge is a handsome Inglenook fireplace with log burner, perfect for cosy evenings with the family. The farmhouse style kitchen overlooks the pretty garden and the large dining room opens onto a super handy study area. Upstairs are two spacious double bedrooms as well as a good single and a recently fitted, super on trend bathroom. A cracking house for a young family that enjoys the countryside as well as the city, a perfect blend of both.
Outside
A peaceful private garden with large lawn and a shady decked area as well as a sunny patio at the top of the garden which is perfect for barbeques. There's a super useful detached garage which also houses a home office alongside an allocated parking space which would open up the possibility of EV charging.
Living in Kingsweston
Kingsweston is a small, historic neighbourhood in North Bristol, between Shirehampton and Coombe Dingle, close to Westbury-On-Trym. One of the biggest pull factors of this area is the proximity to both the Kings Weston and Blaze Estate’s, offering some of the most amazing and popular walks in Bristol as well a a hugely popular play park for children. North Bristol is home to some of the biggest employers in Bristol and Kingsweston is within easy reach of Aztec West, Airbus, Aviva and the MoD whilst proximity to both the M5, the M4 and the Portway makes it easy access to the City Centre and further afield. Parkway Station is great for links to London, much easier than Temple Meads. The picturesque bustling hub of Westbury-On-Trym is nearby and features plenty of café’s and restaurants such as Grupo Lounge, The Post Office Tavern and The Mouse.
