“I was so excited when I found my home on Hampton Park. It’s been the perfect space to make my own. The garden is truly stunning — a little retreat right outside the door — and I love being surrounded by so many incredible restaurants just a short stroll away. It really feels like the best of both worlds: a peaceful home with the buzz of the city right on the doorstep.”
The home
With its own private entrance, this home is peacefully situated just around the corner of Cotham Hill with a private oasis outside. On entry, you are welcomed into the stylishly decorated living room with engineered oak floorboards. The open space is perfect for hosting with the dining table placed next to the newly fitted kitchen with the bonus of additional storage at the end of the room. Continuing through the home you are met with a spacious hallway with double doors out to the garden. To the left is the bathroom with tasteful wall and floor tiling and a shower over bath. Lastly, you have two double bedrooms each side of the hallway. The master bedroom has double doors out the garden and a walk-in wardrobe.
Outside
The large garden is an idyllic peaceful oasis which has been laid to patio followed by lawn with mature trees and plants. At the end of the garden there is a pond and a storage shed.
Living in Cotham
The home lies on Hampton Park bordering Cotham/Redland which has many tree-lined roads, with parks and green spaces, perfect on summer days and is highly convenient being placed in between several hugely popular parts of Bristol. To the north is Westbury Park and the green expanse of The Downs, a short walk up Whiteladies Road. Up the road there are a number of independent shops and cafes, Cotham Hill and further to the larger establishments of Whiteladies Road and Clifton. To the south is Bristol City Centre, around a 15/20 minute walk or a short cycle. To the east is Gloucester Road, running through the popular areas of St Andrews, Bishopston and down into Montpelier, lined with hugely popular bars, restaurants and shops. The area is very convenient into or out of Bristol, with Redland train station just around the corner and several bus routes running in the immediate area.
