IF YOU LIVED HERE....
At the front of the house, two bedrooms sit quietly behind generous windows that flood each room with natural light. The principal bedroom makes clever use of space with a full wall of built-in storage concealed behind sleek louvred doors. Soft, powder-blue walls pair unexpectedly well with bold royal blue carpet—warming underfoot and vibrant enough to lift the mood the moment your feet hit the floor.
The second bedroom is smaller, but full of potential. It could be a peaceful nursery, a focused home office, or a snug guest room—whatever your life needs now (and later).
Move through to the reception and dining space, and you’re met with 18 feet of adaptable layout, lined with dark polished floorboards that catch and reflect the afternoon sun. A decorative wooden mantel anchors the room, flanked by alcove shelves ready for well-loved books, plants, or your favourite curios. Original coving and a ceiling rose lend a quiet nod to the home’s past, while a glazed panel above the internal door invites even more daylight into the heart of the space.
At the rear, the kitchen and bathroom sit side by side, each designed with function and style in mind. The bathroom is crisp and refined, wrapped in white marble-effect tiling and finished with a walk-in glazed shower and smart chrome details. Next door, the kitchen brings contrast and charm, with pale wood cabinets and bold black-and-white checkerboard tiling along the splashback. Open shelving adds practicality, and there’s even room for a washing machine tucked neatly out of the way.
Step outside, and the garden reveals itself—a private west-facing haven that’s simple to keep and easy to love. Neatly planted beds border both sides, with warm wood fencing offering privacy. A stepping stone path winds its way through the lawn to a decked seating area and paved spot at the far end—perfect for late afternoon lounging or dinner outdoors as the sun begins to set.

A WORD FROM THE OWNER....
"Forest Gate has been a great place to live over the last 30 years, with brilliant neighbours who you can stop in the street and have a chat with. One of our favourite features are the green open spaces like Wanstead Flats, just one minutes walk from the front door, and there are also local shops just up the road at Wood Grange road which now includes a Costa coffee. The train links are great, with the Elizabeth line to central London and Heathrow & overground to North London and there are also road links to the A12 / M25. We have enjoyed our time here & will be sad to leave our friends & neighbours for pastures new."
