"Marston Road has been our family home for over 11 years. The house is light and spacious, with a lovely sunny garden perfect for bbqs and splashing in the paddling pool. Our road is wonderfully peaceful, and the neighbours are friendly, helpful and laid back. We've been regular visitors to Redcatch park since moving here, making the most of the playground and some excellent trees for climbing. There's an amazing community garden and cafe hub as well; we love their summer evening pop-up kitchens, just one of the many activities and events held throughout the year. With a local community-owned pool and plenty of independent bars, cafes and shops nearby, the community feel of the area makes Marston Road a very special place to call home."
A unique and spacious Victorian terrace house situated on Marston Road in the popular pocket of Victorian homes between Wells Road and Bath Road. One of the real benefits of this house is the amount and variety of parks and green spaces within a short distance. Arnos Vale Cemetery, Redcatch Park and Community Garden and Perretts Park with its popular café are all within 10 minutes walk from the house. The expansive Victoria Park and Callington Road Nature Reserve are also nearby, providing brilliant open spaces for the summer or for walking the dog all year round. The area is easily commutable from Bristol City Centre, approximately 30 minutes walk, a short cycle or bus journey down Wells Road. The area also has lots of amenities on the doorstep with Wells Road recently becoming home to more and more popular bars, cafes and restaurants. The Knowle Pub is just a short walk away and is a great spot for a Sunday lunch or a beer in the garden.
A beautiful end of terrace house which is flooded with natural light, high ceilings and good proportioned rooms throughout. The property has a good sized porch with original stain glass windows as you enter the property which then leads to the hallway. The living room is at the front of the house with a bay window, original Victorian fireplace and original cornicing. The kitchen has been renovated to provide a great entertaining space with breakfast bar, kitchen island and plenty of space for a dining table. There is also a downstairs WC and a home office/playroom with doors to the garden. Upstairs are three very generous double bedrooms with original fireplaces and a family bathroom. The rear garden is a good size for the area and has a decked area, astro turf lawn and patio for al fresco dining.
