"This has been a very special and cosy first home for us. We'll miss this creative community and being so close to all the things that make Easton what it is- friends, the Greenbank, The Garden of Easton, Sweet Mart, the list goes on! We've loved bringing the garden to life, and have spent many sunny Summer evenings in it. As two keen cooks, we have especially enjoyed the light and space that our kitchen gives. We've enjoyed giving this house the colour and personality it deserves!"
Lena Street is a quiet terraced street offering a particularly tranquil spot within this vibrant residential area of the city. Easton is renowned for its distinctive character and community spirit and boasts a host of local amenities, attractions and community events that draw many visitors from outside the area. The area is well connected to the city centre and beyond by bike, road and train. The M32 and the A431 to Bath are both easily accessible. The area is also home to a number of Bristol's finest independent shops and eateries, hugely popular with locals and visitors alike. Situated along St Marks Road are Bristol Sweet Mart, Thali Café, East Bristol Bakery, and The Garden of Easton. Also close by are No 12 Café, The Greenbank pub, Este Kitchen, Matter Wholefoods, and Public Market. This house is a nine-minute walk away from Whitehall Primary School that is consistently rated ‘outstanding’ by Ofsted, while May Park is a similarly well-regarded local option. Also close by are Easton Leisure Centre, Easton Cowboys, and Cowgirls Sports Club and the Bristol Hawks Gymnastics Club, a city-wide family activity attraction. The area offers a surprising wealth of green spaces including the Greenbank Cemetery, the parks at Eastville and St George, and riverside walks along the nearby Frome Valley, and just minutes from the house is the locally cherished Bristol to Bath Cycle Path, ideal for commuting quickly into the city centre or just for weekend strolls, long runs or bike rides.
This gorgeous double bay-fronted Victorian house blends period charm with a fresh, modern style. With plenty of curb appeal and a lovely aesthetic, it feels instantly welcoming. Step inside to a striking hallway leading into the open-plan sitting and dining room. The layout creates clear zones – the sitting area is cosy and inviting with a log burner, while the dining space flows into the stylish kitchen. With a pitched roof, Velux windows, and French doors opening onto the garden, it’s flooded with natural light. Upstairs, there are two good-sized bedrooms. The large principal has fitted storage, while the second double is equally charming. The contemporary bathroom is beautifully finished with a clean, modern look. Outside, the landscaped garden is a peaceful spot to relax or entertain, with a patio and well-planned planting creating a lovely, private feel.
