No Chain - This exceptional four-bedroom semi-detached home, situated along one of Earlsdon’s most desirable avenues, seamlessly combines period charm, generous space, and modern convenience.
Positioned on a prominent corner plot along one of Earlsdon’s most desirable avenues, this exceptional four-bedroom semi-detached home seamlessly combines period charm, generous space, and modern convenience.
Stepping inside, a spacious and elegant hallway immediately sets the tone for the rest of the home. The beautifully designed lounge boasts dual-aspect windows that fill the room with natural light, complemented by a striking feature fireplace. A separate dining room offers a warm and inviting setting for entertaining, while the stylishly refitted breakfast kitchen provides both practicality and sophistication for everyday family life. A side lobby leads to a cloakroom/utility room and a dedicated home office with additional storage—ideal for those working from home.
Upstairs, the first floor hosts four well-proportioned double bedrooms, three of which include fitted wardrobes. A superbly refitted and spacious family shower room introduces a contemporary touch while preserving the home’s timeless appeal.
With lapsed planning permission in place for a fifth loft bedroom with an en-suite, this exquisite period home presents an outstanding opportunity for its next family, delivering both immediate comfort and exciting future potential.
Surrounded by mature, well-maintained gardens on three sides, the property enjoys a tranquil outdoor space. A rear patio offers the perfect spot for al fresco dining, while the neatly kept lawn and thoughtfully planted borders create a peaceful retreat. The front and side gardens are beautifully stocked with an array of shrubs, providing an attractive yet low-maintenance setting. A private driveway adds the convenience of off-road parking.
Woodland Avenue sits in the heart of Earlsdon - one of Coventry’s most desirable residential neighborhoods. This avenue offers a blend of charming period properties and modern homes, appealing to professionals and families.
Just a short walk away is Earlsdon Street, often referred to as “The Earlsdon High Street” by locals, which features an array of independent shops, cafés, restaurants, and traditional pubs. The nearby War Memorial Park provides expansive green space for outdoor activities and events.
The area benefits from excellent schooling options, including Finham Park, Styvechale Primary, Bishop Ullathorne, and the independent King Henry VIII School. Coventry Train Station is easily accessible, offering direct routes to London and Birmingham, while both the University of Warwick and Coventry University are within easy reach. With its vibrant atmosphere, strong sense of community, and convenient transport links, Earlsdon Avenue is a highly desirable place to live.
In November 1989, we moved from South East London to Earlsdon, returning to the area where Adam grew up as a child. Just a month later, on Christmas Day, our daughter was born.
We chose this house for its lovely, large, and light-filled rooms. We also fell in love with the local area, surrounded by pleasant woodland with numerous walking trails, as well as its proximity to the Memorial Park, the train station, Birmingham Airport, and the motorway network. Coventry, Kenilworth, Leamington Spa, Solihull, and Birmingham are all easily accessible.
Earlsdon is a bustling community with a great shopping centre, welcoming pubs, numerous restaurants, and a vibrant café culture.
Situated on a substantial corner plot, the house has a spacious and inviting entrance hall. The bay window in the front room, along with the side elevation windows, creates a bright and airy feel throughout the downstairs. During the festive season, the entrance hall is always home to a large, locally sourced Christmas tree. The well-appointed upstairs accommodation is also filled with natural light, and all the bedrooms are generously sized.
Now that we are retired and planning to relocate to Scotland, we feel it is time for another family to enjoy this beautiful home and its peaceful surroundings.
