3 Bedroom Maisonette

“We have lived in Totterdown for about 20 years and just love the neighbourhood, especially all the brilliant local businesses. You can find amazing sourdough bread and fresh food in the local shops, as well as great food and a great atmosphere in the local pubs and restaurants. It's also really useful being so close to the city centre and just a 10mins walk from Temple Meads train station - a day out in Bath is just 20mins on the train. The local parks are just wonderful, and Arnos Vale cemetery is great for walking the dog and stopping for coffee and cake at the lovely cafe there. It feels wild and beautiful - you can really enjoy all of the seasons and can almost forget you are in the city! We really enjoyed growing delicious veg and fruit in the Perrets park allotments, which have the best views for an allotment ever! We also created an edible garden at home and enjoy having BBQs in the summer with the backdrop of the pretty & colourful Totterdown houses. One of my favourite things about living on Knowle Road is the most gorgeous view of the city skyline - complete with the iconic Clifton Suspension Bridge. It's so pretty at night time and it's just spectacular to watch the city firework displays across the city from the comfort of home!"

Knowle Road is to the west of Totterdown and adjacent to the beautiful Perretts Park. This quiet street has the best of both worlds, with a fantastic array of cafes, restaurants and independent shops on Wells Road, as well as the open green spaces of South Bristol. Places on Wells Road, such as Fox & West, an independent cafe and greengrocers selling a diversity of local produce, Southside Bar and Farrow’s Fish & Chips offer some of the best options in the city. Green spaces are in plentiful supply, with Arnos Vale being an idyllic Victorian garden cemetery with the Cleverchefs cafe at its heart, the incredible views of Perrett Park, as well as the 50 acres of Victoria Park. Totterdown offers easy access to and from the city, with Bath Road offering an easy link to Bath, the Portway taking you to the M5 and the M32 to the M4 and beyond. Temple Mead Train Station is also a short walk or cycle away, offering connections nationally. Traveling southwards, you find yourself in the Mendips, an area of outstanding natural beauty.

Situated amongst a row of grand Victorian homes is this stunning three double bedroom garden maisonette. The property can either be accessed from Knowle Road or from the rear where there is private parking space at the end of the garden. Upon entry from the street you are met by an entrance hall, and to the left, there is a cosy bay fronted living room, with a log burner and stripped wooden floors. To the rear of the property is a gorgeous galley kitchen with freestanding units, a Belfast sink and door to the rear garden. The third bedroom/dining room is also at the rear and could easily be opened up into the kitchen to create a large family space. Upstairs there are two further double bedrooms and a bathroom with separate shower. The property has a generous garden leading to the parking and there is a substantial storage area underneath the property as well as a garden shed. The property is offered with no onward chain.
