From the Agent's Ruthin office take the A494 Bala road proceeding through Gwyddelwern and on reaching the junction with the A5104 Chester Road turn right. On reaching the traffic lights with the A5 turn right and continue past the Rhug Estate and after about 1 mile take the left fork onto A494 towards Bala. Continue for some 5 miles until reaching the hamlet of Sarnau and turn right into the village and thereafter take the second left, which is a minor lane located between a cottage and an out-building. Follow this lane over the hill into open countryside until reaching a 'hair pin' left turning and the drive way to Bryniau will be found directly ahead.
