This impressive, spacious, family house is located in a quiet cul-de-sac, within a small, exclusive, gated community, close to the walled garden of historic Cound Hall Estate. Surrounded by fabulous countryside and yet conveniently close to every conceivable amenity. It is a very special home for Michael and Emma who purchased their property in 2006.

“Our main purpose in moving here was the outstanding quality of its educational facilities. The area is renowned for its schools and colleges covering the whole range of requirements, whether it be art, sport, or academic studies. Discovering this beautiful house was ideal. Its gothic style windows present a traditional, cottage, effect but our home is modern and bright with an adaptable layout, more especially with its two separate reception rooms, which offer many options for the comings and goings of a busy life. The house was built to an extremely high specification and its quality is evident. We enjoy our kitchen/diner; it being very much the heartbeat of our home. It is such a splendid area in which to enjoy friendly relaxed meals with friends and family.“

“The house has outgrown our requirements, plus we are moving to live in another location. However, we will feel sad to say farewell as it has been a wonderful family home in a location and setting of which dreams are made.”

The beautiful city of Shrewsbury is conveniently close as are Bridgnorth and Telford, and, therefore, access to larger shopping amenities is very easy. The River Severn meanders in our area, Ironbridge is not far away, and the Severn Valley Railway is nearby. We also enjoy good access to major roads and motorways when required. The surrounding countryside is superb and there are many walks and cycle paths direct from our home. Our village has a strong sense of community with several amenities, including a thriving tennis club. Many social events take place in the village, including ‘flicks in the sticks’ which is very popular.”

“Our gardens have an abundance of roses, and our rear terrace is the perfect spot on which to relax and enjoy casual dining, or simply to relish in the perfumes emanating from the garden. We also have stunning distant views of The Wrekin and overlook a large natural pool, home to moorhens, herons and kingfishers, which provide a fabulous backdrop to our garden and summer house.”
